... and fun!! EMW-UK  currently welcome volunteers at our EMW Herefordshire sanctuary location
We cannot stress enough how vital a part volunteers play in the day to day running and the
care of the sanctuary residents.
Alongside general care there is the opportunity to learn about nutrition, foot care and care of older horses as well as handling issues with youngsters and wild intakes.
EMW-UK welcome alternative methods and therapists and during your time with us you may see and learn from many specialists who give their time and skills free for EMW-UK  horses and ponies. 
Although some horses and ponies that come to EMW are rideable we cannot offer ridden work on a regular basis but if you are keen to see and to help horses and ponies flourish and begin to trust in humans after coming from terrible backgrounds then EMW-UK is the place for you.
