Here is EMW Lizzie - real name Garnlas. She is an old pony, aged 25yrs. Lizzie came in in Ocotber 2008 in foal with the filly Luya and straight from auction in por condition. She is a feral mare but is much friendlier now and although we still can't handle her she will come to call and take from a bucket. We provide Lizzie with hard flinty surfaces to enable her to care for her hooves as nature intended her to. Lizzie is just one of many feral ponies bred from year after year with little thought as to where the foals will go and scant regard for the welfare of mares. Lizzie was lucky and survived a meat auction, many never know a kind hand only experiencing contact when they are ear notched/tagged
