THIS WAS 'SPIDER'

Not too bad you might think...well, take a closer look -

This was 'Spider' who was bought at Brecon auction by EMW-UK  to save him from the meat wagons or worse.
This pony, a weanling, was bred to be tiny...look at the result..he was totally deformed..he was looked at by our excellent foot trimmer Mel Richards for remedial treatment within days and we instigated a reply from the breed society regarding the registration of such deformed foals as well as highlighting the plight of foals like Spider..his only legacy was acute and degenerative joint disease.
FRONT VIEW OF THE DEFORMITY INFLICTED ON THIS FOAL IN THE NAME OF MINITURE.
Spider sadly died a few months after intake.
