LEOMINSTER HORSE AUCTION

I and a colleague visited Leominster market today, for the monthly horse and pony
sale, I would like to say what a pleasure the whole experience was.
   We arrived at the market at around 10am.
It was very busy with horse boxes , trade lorries and buyers, however plenty of market staff were
around to ensure all vehicles were directed to the correct, designated area.
  All the horses had hay, some had hay and water. We saw only one pony that was
on the' lean side', the majority were well covered and well presented.
Horses and  ponies were introduced to the sale ring, prior to the sale, to
familiarize them with the different environment.
The ring itself was covered with rubber matting and shavings.
The sale ran smoothly and appeared to be stress free for both horses,
vendors and purchasers.
    Very well done, once again, to Brightwells.
